2. What do PPP's services cost?

For workers- nothing! All of our fees are charged to our employer clients. It is illegal to charge workers for finding employment in Alberta. Employers may contact our office regarding rates.

 


3. What benefits does PPP offer?

In addition to vacation pay, which is paid out weekly, we pay our employees additional statutory pay after 160 hours worked. During peak times, we offer a referral bonus as well as great gifts/events through our Employee Incentive Program and worker of the Week. Moreover, PPP will LEND any personal protective gear necessary to its employees as well as offer transportation to and from work.

4. What training opportunities does PPP provide to its employees?

PPP has a certified Alberta Road Flagging and certified WHMIS trainer on staff. As a Certified Road Flagger, you are eligible to direct traffic on all public roadways and highways. We deliver these courses as needed and free of charge to our employees. All registered PPP employees who are interested in this opportunity are urged to inquire about the course. PPP provides basic work safety training. Training on-the-job occurs with all positions.

5. By registering with Positive People Placement, am I guaranteed a job?

Once temp staff have registered in-person, available work gets evenly distributed among all eligible employees. We prioritize placement of our long-term workers first. PPP is continually receiving new job orders so the chances of new staff being offered work within a reasonable period of time is good. However, any reliability or work ethic concerns may result in permanent dismissal from all work opportunities.
