2. What do PPP's services cost?

For workers- nothing! All of our fees are charged to our employer clients. It is illegal to charge workers for finding employment in Alberta. Once registered, employer-clients may view our pricing information online.

3. What types of benefits does PPP offer?

In addition to vacation pay, which is paid out weekly, we pay our employees additional statutory pay after 160 hours worked. During peak times, we offer a referral bonus as well as great gifts through our Employee Incentive Program. Employees who are registered with Positive People Placement as returning students (there is a limit) will receive an end-of-season bonus! Moreover, PPP will LEND any personal protective gear necessary to its employees as well as offer transportation to and from work.

4. What types of training opportunities does Positive People Placement provide to its employees?

PPP has a certified Alberta Road Flagging trainer on staff. As a Certified Road Flagger, you are eligible to direct traffic on all public roadways and highways. We will be delivering this FREE course during our peak season of spring and summer. All registered PPP employees who are interested in this opportunity are urged to inquire about the course.

5. By registering with Positive People Placement, am I guaranteed a job?

No pre-hiring is done; available work get evenly distributed among all eligible employees. Also, we are obligated to staff our long-term workers first. However, since PPP is continually receiving new job orders, your chances of being offered work within 10 days are very high.
